Go Give

Go Give is my final year major project that highlights an area which I believe is tremendously overlooked and undervalued. Go Give is a charity app that focuses on more than giving money, but instead donating your time or skills to help those who need it the most.

Some people stereotype charitable giving that it’s only about how much money you give and how often. That’s simply not the case and it’s a stereotype that needs to be broken.

Go Give solves this problem by bringing people closer to the charities by informing them of ways they can help their cause in other ways than just giving money.

So this is where I am so far with my progress. There is a link below for a basic alpha prototype of Go Give so you can see how it works for yourself.

Since the Alpha has been released, I have fully rebranded Go Give. I felt that after having some time away over the semester break and looking at it with fresh eyes, the brand just didn’t fit with the app or the message. So after going back to the drawing board and coming up with numerous concepts I finally landed on the brand that envisioned everything I wanted it to.

This is where I’m currently at with Go Give. I am working on the next version of the app, building on and improving the alpha and taking into account the user testing that I carried out.

I will be posting more on this and adding more details as they happen. In the meantime, you can read my blog, which has most of my research and concepts in one place!
