The Branding so Far

Wednesday 5th December 2018

I’ve decided to post an update of where I am so far with the branding of Go Give and where I’m wanting to move in the direction of over the coming weeks.

So here is my branding for Go Give, it’s clean, simple and minimal with three main colours in the design. The “O” is supposed to represent the world with some low poly style continents and the colours are suppose to be bright, modern and eye-catching which are exactly the things I want to communicate with the brand.

I decided to take a different approach to choose a typeface. Open Sand and Roboto are too common and overused. I decided to go with Rubik for the titles because they communicate work well in lower and uppercase with a variety of weights. I then picked Karla for the body font as it works very well and is easily readable when used as a body font.

Next, I want to start thinking more of the language and the message I want the brand to portray. This will be especially useful for creating touch points and marketing materials for promoting Go Give.
