Quick Appeal

Tuesday 6th November 2018

I wanted Go Give to have features that were different from any other competing charity app out there, so I decided to rethink the way we read about campaigns and charities.

I created a “Quick Appeal” feature for my app Go Give. This feature basically allows you to view a quick “Instagram Story” or “Snapchat” style story for the intake of quick information.

So for example before you click into the main charity information page you can view a “Quick Appeal” for a charity. This is 5 or 6 short full screen mobile slides that takes you through a brief history of the charity, the work they’ve done recently, a promotional video and some causes they need help with.

I believe this will be a better way of getting a feel for a charity and would especially help in today’s world of quick, readily available information.

Here are some more detailed digital wireframes of the process. I’m going to be developing this further in the next few weeks but this is where I am at the minute.

I think this feature will give charities a clear way to communicate the key info they want to get across to potential volunteers and give everyone a fair chance to pitch their idea.
